EXTERNAL RESULTS DAY ENROLMENT FORM - If you have already made an application to DHSG, and want to enrol for your place in September 2025, then please fill out the form on the link below. This form will go live from 10:00am on Thursday 21st August and close on Friday 22nd August at midday.

If you have not submitted an application this academic year and want to apply then please email the Sixth Form team on 6thform@dhsg.co.uk attaching a clear picture of your GCSE results, your chosen A Levels and a contact mobile number. (Currently there appears to be a bounce back when emailing 6thform@dhsg.co.uk, however the emails do come to us).

Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for our Sixth Form is an average grade of 6 or higher from your GCSEs, with a minimum of a grade 5 in English and Mathematics. Additionally, subject-specific entry requirements include a minimum grade of 6 for the subjects you wish to study. Additional requirements exist for:  

Psychology, a grade 6 in Mathematics or a Science and a grade 6 in English are required; Business, a grade 6 in Mathematics and a grade 6 in English are required.  

We also recommend that students with a grade 5 in Mathematics undertake Core Maths to support their studies. For Classics, we require a grade 6 in English, History, or any essay-based subject.

Admission Process

All applicants will be interviewed and are encouraged to tour DHSG during a normal school day. For further details about our admissions process, please consult our Admissions Policy available on the main school website. 

Bursaries

We offer the Post 16 Bursary to students who meet the criteria of the three categories of Looked After, Disadvantaged, or combined family income. This is payable every month and is used for a range of things to help pay for a student’s wider education from equipment to transport. Awarding of funds is linked to maintaining excellent attendance.
